Ashley pakenham - Maid of honor
Jane and Ashley have known each other for quite some time. Ashley has put her love of "to-do" lists to use in planning for this wedding. A sample list from circa 1996 contained the following tasks, still accurate today: "Spy on Jane, Grapes, Play with Jane." Clearly, Ashley has her priorities in order, which is why she's Jane's Maid of Honor. Always handy with a grape in a crisis.
Tanner harvey - Best man
As per tradition, Tanner is the best swordsman Nick knows, which shows Nick's good luck to meet and befriend the best swordsman while still in preschool. In the rare situation where Tanner's sword should fail him, there's a good chance he has a poisonous snake somewhere on his person as a fallback.
And remember, as Tanner always said, "If I were any character in Final Fantasy VII, I would be Red XIII."
PAUL BOYE - Groomsman
Ask Paul about music, baseball, or how to meet quality people on the internet. He is responsible for finding the movie ticket stub to Nick and Jane's first official date, which was to see the classic film, "Real Steel," and pretty much all of the music Jane and Nick listen to that was released after 2009.
As the photo suggests, Paul loves puns like they're family.
Alix Flynn - Bridesmaid
Formatting websites is hard. Anyway, Alix is Jane's best friend from high school, which you probably can't tell from this photo, which was taken on a random Tuesday in September. We are probably on our way to debate practice, or possibly a Model UN meeting. Dress for the job you want, as they say.
Peter Mutino - Groomsman
Was Jane's roommate for three years. He's a stellar writer and performer of zany comedic acts! We're not sure how he knows Nick.
He's also an avid fan of sports radio, gabagool, and Hugh Jackman.
Mohit Narang - Groomsman
Has nourished a deep and abiding friendship with Nick for years. He doesn't even remember how they met!
Mo can tell you absolutely anything about your horoscope and collects David Ortiz memorabilia.
Anna Rothschild - Bridesmaid
When Jane and Anna were little, they had a lemonade stand on a Brooklyn sidewalk. They shouted "Homemade lemonade and cookies! The cookies aren't homemade!" Because, you see, the cookies were not homemade, and honesty is important.
Twenty years later, Jane turned to Anna and said "Cookies and homemade lemonade."
As adults, they are better at advertising.
Annalisa Schaefer - Bridesmaid
An elf-mage from the hills of Alvendar, Annalisa has trained in the arts of mohendai for several of your puny human lifetimes. After decades of teaching her younger brother Nick about the important things in life, like the Rankin-Bass version of The Hobbit, she is come to bear witness of this union as a representative of her people, and to offer the Blessing of the New Spring up on the happy couple.
